There was a shocked reaction in the UEA TV studio at on the night of the 8th May 2015 as news of the general election exit polls came out, predicting a surprise victory for the Conservatives. Lecturers and students from the Politics department had gathered for a special ‘election fallout’ radio programme which was broadcast on Future Radio between 10pm and midnight.
